This year the Ubaka U Rwanda boys decided to contribute to the fundraising effort to raise funds for their school fees. Many of the boys have been with us since we started 7 years ago, and are now attending secondary school.
Additionally, they are setting up charities that pick up clothing donations via Pickup please. They will be able to provide clothing that can be used by less fortunate students so that they will be able to attend school and focus on the most important thing, their studies. It has always been a welcome surprise, and we have always been very happy to receive the assistance of young people that make an effort and show initiative. It lets us know that we are succeeding in reaching people and teaching the next generation to pay it forward.
They understand the importance of education, and are grateful for the opportunities that the Ubaka U Rwanda supporters have provided for them. In response they are planning to run a whopping 10k through Kigali and we hope you will sponsor them.
The event will take place on Friday 27th of November.
